Combine PDFs in this tab
Merge PDF files
A merge PDF tool should be boring in the best way: drop the files, set the order, and download one document. LoveThisPDF concatenates every PDF you add, from top to bottom, using pdf-lib in this browser. The pages are copied into a new file on your computer. We do not run a conversion server, so the packet never leaves the tab.
Use it when chapters, exhibits, or signed forms belong in a single handout. Reorder with the arrows if the first drop was messy. Unlock password-protected files on your machine first. This page cannot read them. The download is a copy; the originals stay on disk. Close the tab and the working files disappear from the app.
Merge runs 100% in-browser. The PDFs you drop are never uploaded.
No files yet. Drop them above. They stay in this tab and are never uploaded.
How to merge PDFs in your browser
- Drop two or more PDFs onto the box, or browse from your computer.
- Use the arrows to set merge order from top to bottom.
- Click Merge PDFs. The join runs locally and is never uploaded.
- Download the combined file. Your source PDFs are unchanged.
Merge PDF without uploading
Most “merge PDF online free” sites take the file, process it on a server, and ask for an email. This page does the join in JavaScript. There is no queue, no watermark from us, and no account. If a merge fails, the file never sat on someone else’s disk.
Questions
- Can I merge PDF files without uploading them?
- Yes. LoveThisPDF reads the PDFs in this tab and writes a new file on your device. Nothing is sent to a server to combine them.
- Is this merge PDF tool free? Do I need an account?
- It is free to use in the browser. There is no sign-up and no watermark added by LoveThisPDF.
- How do I choose the order when I combine PDF files?
- Files merge from top to bottom. Use the arrows on the list to move a PDF up or down before you merge.
- Will bookmarks and form fields survive a merge?
- Pages are copied into a new document. Simple files merge cleanly. Some form fields, comments, or bookmarks may not carry over.
- Why won’t a password-protected PDF merge?
- Encrypted files cannot be opened here. Unlock them on your computer, then drop the unlocked copies.
